Chapter 01

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Read Count Tally mobile application and related services operated by Weronika Katarzyna Styrna (the “Service Provider”).

Chapter 02

Information we do not collect

Read Count Tally does not collect personal information during normal use and does not require an account.

Book titles, authors, categories, page counts, reading status, favorites, reading-session notes, goals, streaks and progress summaries are not collected or stored by the Service Provider on its servers.

Chapter 03

Reading data stays on your device

The Application may store your library, reading sessions, page totals, favorites, goals, streaks and preferences locally on your device so the app can function as intended.

Local-first: this information is not uploaded to or retained by the Service Provider.
Chapter 04

No sale or third-party sharing

Because personal information is not collected through normal use, the Application does not sell or share your personal information with advertisers, analytics companies, data brokers or other third parties.

Chapter 05

No precise location tracking

The Application does not collect precise or approximate device location and does not use location data for advertising, analytics or profiling.

Chapter 06 · Data Retention

No server-side retention period

The Service Provider does not maintain a server-side database containing your reading records or personal information.

Data Retention: because personal data is not collected or stored by the Service Provider during normal use, there is no server-side personal-data retention period.
Chapter 07 · Data Deletion

No server-side personal data to delete

There is no server-side personal data to delete because Read Count Tally does not collect or retain personal information through normal use.

Local deletion: you can remove locally stored books, reading sessions, history, favorites and progress using available in-app delete/clear controls, through your device’s app-storage settings, or by uninstalling Read Count Tally.

If you voluntarily contact the Service Provider by email, you may request deletion of information contained in that correspondence by writing to [email protected].

Chapter 08

Technical network information

If the Application uses an internet connection, standard network communication may temporarily involve routing information such as an ephemeral IP address. The Service Provider does not retain that information for tracking, profiling or advertising.

Chapter 09

Children’s privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher minimum age where applicable law requires one. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Application.

Chapter 10

Security

A local-first design that avoids centralized collection reduces exposure risk. However, no device, network or technical system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Chapter 11

Policy updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Application, its features or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published with a revised effective date.

Chapter 12

Contact

For privacy questions or requests relating to information you voluntarily provide outside normal app use, contact [email protected].
